Free Movie Screening: In a Different Key

Synopsis: A mother tracks down the first person ever diagnosed with autism to a rural Mississippi town to learn whether his life story holds promise for her own autistic son.

Celebrate November as SEPAC Awareness Month with us!
November is SEPAC Awareness Month. Join us in celebrating by wearing a teal ribbon or clothing in the month of November. On Nov 6 (Thu) we will also be sporting our teal at the Movie Screening "In a Different Key."
The mission of the Reading Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) is to work for the understanding, respect, and support of all children with special needs in the community.
SEPAC advises the Director of Student Services, School Committee, and Superintendent on policies and programs related to special education.
SEPAC provides a forum for parents to network and share information, and creates a supportive community for families of children with special needs.
SEPAC promotes communication among SEPAC members, organizations, and the community to encourage understanding and inclusion.
SEPAC conducts informational workshops for parents, educators, and students on topics relevant to special education.
SEPAC participates with school officials in the planning, development, and evaluation of the district's special education programs.
SEPAC enjoys a collaborative partnership with RPS leaders, and this partnership has resulted in great outcomes for students, families, and staff.
